The BlueRobotics 200mm Watertight Aluminum Enclosure Tube (4-Inch) is made from anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. This series of tubes represents a significant improvement over the previous generation of watertight enclosure tubes. The aluminum tube features precision-machined O-ring interfaces at each end, ensuring a consistent and reliable fit with the sealing flange. The smooth surface finish guarantees proper sealing between the O-ring flange and the tube.
The ends of the tube are also machined to include a gland for a locking cord and a slot for cord insertion. The slot for cord insertion also serves as an anti-rotation feature, aligning with a feature on the flange. This maintains the flange in a consistent orientation with the tube and prevents the user from rotating the flange, thereby avoiding potential damage to the contents of the enclosure.
