The BlueRobotics 240 mm Watertight Aluminum Enclosure Tube (3-Inch) is made from anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. This series of tubes represents a significant improvement over the previous generation of watertight enclosure tubes. The aluminum tube features precision-machined O-ring interfaces at both ends, ensuring a reliable and consistent fit with the sealing flange. The smooth surface finish guarantees proper sealing between the O-ring flange and the tube.

The tube ends are also machined to include a gland for a locking cord and a slot for cord insertion. The slot for cord insertion also serves as an anti-rotation feature, aligning with a feature on the flange. This prevents the flange from rotating and potentially causing damage to the contents of the enclosure.

Important: The tubes are designed to maintain a consistent orientation between the flange and the tube, preventing the user from rotating the flange and potentially damaging the contents of the enclosure.
