The BlueRobotics 300mm Watertight Acrylic Enclosure Tube (3-Inch) is a significant improvement over the initial generation of watertight enclosure tubes.
This acrylic tube features precision-machined O-ring interfaces at each end, which ensure a consistent and reliable fit with the sealing flange. The smooth surface finish of the tubes guarantees proper sealing between the O-ring flange and the tube. The ends of the tubes are also machined to include a gland for a locking cord and a slot for cord insertion.
The slot for cord insertion also serves as an anti-rotation feature, aligning with a feature on the flange. This maintains a consistent orientation between the flange and the tube, preventing the user from rotating the flange and potentially causing damage to the contents of the enclosure.
